Fish Cookbook Review

We all really enjoy eating fish in our house but often don't know what to cook so it ends up being plain fish with vegetables. The Fish Cookbook has really come to my aid over the past few weeks as it has recipes for all types of fish ranging from the regular prawns and cod to the more exotic lobster and octopus.

It has many different types of dish; starters, curries and pastas to name a few.
I recently cooked monkfish in a spicy sauce, which was quite like a fish curry, which was very well received and I have lots more plans. I could spend hours going through the book deciding which meals to try, the photography in the book is wonderful too.

The book is much more than just a recipe book though. It has around 50 pages dedicated to the techniques you may need to know when dealing with fish, including which tools to use, preparation of different types of fish, preserving and cooking. At the back of the book there is also a fish gallery so you'll never be left guessing what type of fish you're about to chop up again.

The book has an RRP of £20.00 but is available at the moment on Amazon for £12.20.
